As part of the 2019 "Five Ocean Deep Adventure" plan, the Omega Ultra Deep watch once dived to the deepest part of the Mariana Trench, setting a world record for watch deep diving and creating a milestone legend. Nowadays, Omega continues to keep pace with the times and develop this disruptive professional diving watch into a new watch that can be sold to the public. During the product development process, Omega tested this watch in a real marine environment. It is waterproof to a depth of up to 6,000 meters (20,000 feet) and passed the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 6425:2018 certification for saturation diving watches. .
The case of this watch is 45.5 mm, made of sturdy and durable O-MEGASTEEL material, and the polished black ceramic bezel is decorated with a Liquidmetal diving scale. Through the raised arched sapphire glass, you can see the lacquered dial showing a gradient effect from blue to black. The white 18K gold hands and hour markers are covered with white Super-LumiNova.
The watch is paired with an O-MEGASTEEL bracelet, equipped with an extendable push-pull folding clasp developed by Omega, and has an extendable function. The grade 5 titanium medal on the back of the case is laser-engraved with the Sonar logo, and Omega’s iconic seahorse pattern is engraved in the center.
